South Korea and Uzbekistan to build $80 million medical cluster in Namangan

NAMANGAN / VodiyMedia / – South Korea and Uzbekistan will establish a joint medical cluster that includes a medical clinic, a center of training and re-education of medical specialists and a pharmaceutical enterprise in Namangan region of Uzbekistan.
Memorandum on establishment of first medical cluster in Uzbekistan has been signed between Korean Gold Dream Foundation, Uzbekistan National Chamber of Innovative Health and Uzbek-Korean JV “Gold Dream”.
According to the Memorandum, direct Korean investments to the Namangan medical cluster project will be 80 million USD.
Local doctors will be chosen to have training in Chonnam National University in Korea. After training program, they will work in the medical clinic of the cluster.
